Forum Decal FINALIST Poll

Hi, I'm calrockx mcclure, you may remember me from such threads as "Forum Decal" and "::Wannabe sticky:: Another Forum Decal Post." I'm here today to talk to you about another exciting post...Forum Decal FINALIST Poll. In this thread, the top choices have been selected for your voting pleasure...the one with the most votes will be the new official YotaTech decal!

(hold for applause)

Okay, but seriously...we are quite the democratic crowd. So here's the last thread on this issue, we need to have a clear winner. This is what you guys asked for, so here's the finalist poll.

Some things to remember when voting...

1) This is it. Last chance to vote for your favorite.

2) Whichever one wins, it will be printed in multiple colors, not just the one shown. Likely colors available will be red, white, blue and gray. Anyway, once we pick a decal, then we'll discuss color options.

3) This decal is one that is intended to you on your 4runner/tacoma/tundra/whatever toyota truck you have. Pick one that you think would look best on your rig.

4) Some factors to consider: size, number of colors/shades, cost of printing

I know a lot of you guys made designs, but these seems to be the ones with the most votes and appeal so far. Maybe we can use those other logos for the website, or 4ROC or something, who knows. But we had to keep this poll down to a limited selection. We'll decide on who will print these later. Whoever does, I think it's agreed that sure he/she'll make a little profit, but some will be donated to the yotatech cause (site upkeep costs, etc).

EVERYONE VOTE!

I'm not particularly fond of any of them. What happened to the ones from the first poll?

Originality issue?

Hey all, I missed the first round of discussion on this, here my two cents....
Numbers 2 & 3 both look like the Performance products logo, check it out... http://performanceproducts.com/
decent looking but not original.

Between 1 and 4 I'd have to say there's no contest, I want to have the burly pic of what's his face's runner on my tailgate... but maybe we could kill the superflouous "A site dedicated to Toyota trucks" part. I figure the "yota" in "yotatech" makes that clear enough to anybody who owns a toyota, if they don't get it they're not driving a "yota"...
D!

we had to keep the number of options low, that's the only way to get this done. i took the ones with 6 votes or higher, plus the prolax (number 3) one that lots of people liked

I'm with you. After all the work I did to accomodate everyone's request (the first sticker attempt) and have it largely swept under the rug, I'm not particularly happy. But I'm a big boy now and I'll get over it.

I'm going to use the design for my website anyways, so at least it will be utilized.

Bob

Hey all,

I voted for #3. #1 comes in close though. Wouldn't mind either one. #2 isn't half bad either. I don't really like #4 though. Really, any of the first 3 is fine with me.

Well, have fun.

The thread that Ryan just linked to should be the final one.
Anyone who has made a sticker in the past, email them to Chris, and he will upload them, and a final vote will be narrowed down.

Yes, it's a long process, as there have been numerous great designs.
It's a gonna a happen soon.

Corey is correct, we need to compile ALL the designs not just the one from this thread, that is why I created THIS

If there's no copyright issues surrounding Gene's (Dread) latest creation of the 4ROC logo with TRD, why don't we get a theme going and use the same font and design type? I bet Yotatech would look cool in that fashion! I think that's a pretty big "if" though. Just another idea.

Carry on . . .

yeah, that thread was made after this one. i thought we all narrowed the choices down to these, at least that seemed to be the consensus on the ::wannabe sticky:: thread. i guess not. oh well, whatever works and gets this done is fine with me.

You guys should take some styling cues from Yankee Toys. This has to be one of my favorite stickers:
