... Yeah now my foot gets a rest. Today I took a bike shifter and wired it to my throttle and ta da... A HAND THROTTLE! Well, it's more of a finger throttle but, hey . Now I can zip around town without wasting energy on pressing the gas peddle, just clutch and brake. I did this mainly for wheeling, like climbing stuff so I don't have to fumble around three different peddles. It was so simple, 100% reversable and cheap (total = about $10). I was excited so I just had to share.

Is it safe giving access to the accelerator to anyone in the passenger seat? I assume noone would do something silly but you never know.
