Flowmaster & Deep Tone?

hey guys, my local exhaust place here only really carries flowmaster if it isn't glasspacks. i was wonder what series you would suggest? i would like to have dual 3 inch tips at a 45 degree agle coming out of the back. i dont mind it being to loud to if it sounds nice a deep. i'm trying to stay away from anything that sounds like a "ricer" and sports car. i'm looking for a nice truck sound, any suggestions?

(and yes i did search and read alot of helpful info already on here)

If you have a 22re or similar 4 cylinder, good luck escaping the ricer sound. I have the flowmaster 40 and it is fairly loud.

I have heard the 3.4 sound pretty good through flowmaster 50 series mufflers.

You can also check out the sound clip at the bottom. Duals will require you to remove your spare tire also.

You don't want to sound like a ricer, but don't mind looking like one? IMO, dual exhausts on a factory "single-exhausted" vehicle pulls you right smack dab in the middle of the ricer category. Might as well get some flame throwers in there while you're at it. (which would actually be kind of funny )

Like Elton suggested, get a muffler if you're wanting a deeper/louder sound.

And I'm not trying to be a jerk. I'm just confused at your thought process.

well here the only people with dual exhaust is truck owners and suv's. the "ricer" people here usually have a bumblebee sounding civic or old nissan with about a single 5 inch tip coming out straight.

Not true... you must know what fits under the ricer category before you mock thier ways.

That's pretty funny. But, the dual exhaust definately fits under this category. Makes it "look faster" with nothing to back it up.

"A person who makes unecessary modifications to their most often import car (hence the term "rice") to make it (mostly make it look) faster. The most common modifications are (but not limited to):

- Huge exhaust that serves no purpose but to make the car louder

I've had 6 Honda's---I know rice.

My friend has a 3.4L taco with a 50 series Flow Master duel exhaust. It's super deep and super loud too. Sounds like a small block V8. Watch out though your neighbors might put a garden hose in your tail pipe. lol
