Fitting tires under my 87 pickup

I just bought an 87 Pickup off my friend. After i pull the engine and replace the rings and bearings and get everything back together, I plan on putting new tires on it. I want to put 31x10.50x15s on, but I was curious as to how big and wide i could go before I have to worry about rubbing. Everything it stock as far as I know.

It might sound like a dumb question, but I want to make sure before i go putting money out for them.

Should fit fine w/ stock rims:

You may consider regearing the axles, but not required. Factory 31" tire option included 4.56 gears for manual tranny and 4.88 for automatics.
