First Gen Window Tints

I noticed a few of you first gen owners with pics up who have your windows tinted. I would like to do something like that, not so much for looks, but becasue every car with tinted windows i've ever been in seems to be cooler than those w/out. How did you guys do it? I was looking at some of the sheet tint stuff, that i guess you must just stick on, and if any of you have done that, how does it hold up ,and are there any tricks to get it not to bubble up? Thanks.

I had my 87 tinted by Artech down here....I loved it...kept it cool. They hated me because they gave it a lifetime warranty and anytime it bubbled or wrinkled they had to replace it free! Rofl...they did not expect a Toyota to be owned by the same person that long.

I really did not have that many issues. Since a professional did it then I had very few problems.

89-4run, your rig is awsome!!! how much did your window tint cost? I would also like to know how long you have had the windows tinted, and how it has lasted with bubbling. Also, since i currently reside in Boulder, where did you get yours done down there? Thanks. AxleIke

Thanks
I got it done at a place here in denver called IDS. I have had no issues with bubbling, they guaranteee it against that. I don't remember the exact price, but less than $200, maybe around $150. My rears are tinted darker, I think its 20%, and my fronts are 35%, sound right? I had the 20% up front, but I couldn't see crap at night so I took it back and they put on the 35% at no charge.
