the inside is nice. nice styling.

those wheel openings still look odd though. they should have either used the shape from the 4th gen runner, or stick with a good 'ole round shape. it's as if they tried blending the two shapes together. funky.

I figured someone would show me the exception to the rule. The MAJORITY of new rigs are not used offroad. Just cause there is an exception, does not disprove the rule.

let me rephrase what i said earlier.....95% of FJ100's are not used for offroad use. And even then, you are hard pressed to find a HEAVILY modified rig...and im not talking useless brush gaurds, deckplate mods, or any of those other mods.

Looks really good, is very tempting to replace the 3rd gen with. Then again, I like the FZJ100 posted earlier in this thread. Decisions, decisions...

Just a little note - I know where you're going with your train of thought - but when you really get down to the nitty gritty - of all the 4WDs sold throughout the U.S. to private citizens, what percentage really uses it offroad? What percentage of that will heavily modify their rig?

But like I said, I know where you're going with this.

Honestly, I like it. And all you have to do is compare the 1st gens to the 4th gens 4runners to see that this is a trend that will ALWAYS happen.

According to Toyota internal reports of customers purchasing Toyota SUV's (F and B series), 5%.
