Finally fixing P0325

Shortly after putting my new motor together I started getting a P0325 code. Knock sensor malfunction. I was checking where the pigtail ffrom the two knock sensors plugs into the wring harness by the injectors, and realized I made a mistake. I am pretty sure the knock sensor harness should run out the front of the valley, under the intake. This wise guy ran it out the back. And its putting alot of stress on the wiring. The motor will run great intill the coolant temp gets to 207, then the code comes on. And I loose all power, motor runs rich, not good.

I ordered all the gaskets, knock sensors, and the pigtail harness that goes from the sensors the main harness. $398 bucks from the dealer.

What I am wondering about is why the code is coming on when it is? Is this consistant with other people who have had P0325 code? I am hoping its not the knock sensor input wiring that I spliced into for the URD FTC ECM. But since its a temp related problem I doubt it.

Cant wait to have my power back.

On a side note, my lady bought this a few weeks ago. I was pretty impressed overall. Alittle under powered with the 5.4L, but not bad

Got it all done last night, and I drove it around and no code! If case anybody gets confused about how the pigtail for the knock sensors come out of the valley, I am about 90% sure the wires come out to the front of the motor.

If it's a 5vz-fe, you can be 100% sure it comes out the front.
