Finally decided on new wheels and tires....(link to pic)

wheels: 16x8 American Racing Crater

tires: BFGoodrich All-Terrain KO

size choice: 285/75R16 -or- 305/70R16.

These are almost identical in height, but the 305 is .8" wider.

Will these fit on 4.5" backspacing wheels?

Can't wait to get them.

The BFG's rock man and those wheels look sweet, are they black on the inside and chrome around the edges? I wanna see pics of them on. I've been wanting to paint my wheels like that or buy some wheels very similar, nice find.

I have no idea...

they are their new Teflon Line of wheels, so it's not shiny, more of a matte black with a rough finish.

I think the centers are all black with a lip being polished. I'll post pics with them on the truck.

I REALLY need to know what size tires though...285/75 or 305/70...

damn!

You'll most likely have some rubbing issues on the upper A-arms with the 305's with 4.5" backspacing.

If you really want those rims then you can always just buy some 1" bolt on wheel spacers from Marlin or something.

That looks like a computerized drawing. Does AR have any pictures, or does anyone here have a set of these wheels?

I'm running 305 MT/Rs on 4.5" BS 16x8's with only 2" suspension and 1" body lift and I don't rub on the upper arm. the ONLY place i rub is slightly on the frame on a full turn and stuff.

There's a wheel called the Mojave that looks good I think. It's a simple design, but it has the teflon stuff.

yeah... a little too much black though...I liked the fact that the Crater's were two-toned...

well, I may get the polished Craters, then sell them when the Teflon ones are ready.

So.......does anybody want some brand new polished Crater wheels 16 x 8 in about 6 weeks?

email me.
