When I got my 95 4Runner it came with an alarm that had no remotes and wasn't hooked up. I haven't had the money to mess with it, but I am kinda curious as to rather or not it is an aftermarket alarm or a factory alarm.

It's got a little metal toggle switch down by the hood opener lever, and the on/off light is located just above the dimmer for the lights in the instrument cluster. The indicator light looks factory, but there is no cpu under the drivers seat and according to most of the info I've found that's the spot it should be in.

Anyone got a second generation with a factory alarm?
