Extended Breather Parts

What good is the dealer???

Monday I ordered the parts so I could install extended breather on my differentials. The dealer told me they would be in by 4pm Tuesday & now they tell me there back ordered.

I have been searching around for the site where someone had ordered their parts from someplace other than the dealer. Does anyone have that info?

Thanks

Thanks for the link. Do you know if that part will also work on the front? I thought that was why a 90 deg was needed due to the lack of room.

it will work with a little tweak on them.. I have them up front on mine (all stock) You do need to just bend it to one side a hair..

But, if I had it to do again I would get the Toy parts for it..

Yeah from what I have read you use 3/8" fuel, air or vac hose.

I used 5/16" fuel line. Others have used 3/8" fuel line, but I thought it was a bit too large. 5/16" was a good, snug fit.

I got mine a Lowes. A simple brass barbed fitting threaded directly in. A fuel line takes the front and rear diffs, transfer case and transmission all terminate at the top of the engine compartment, right by the clutch master cylinder.

Oh year, I had a couple of hose clamps too.

Guys,

I'm doing a little research right now about the flare to metric adapter that will fit in those diffs. If you guys are interested in stainless steel braided lines to modify or upgrade your existing breathers I will give you the part number as soon as I've modified mine. I will give it a try first and if it works, I will post it on this board.
