Exhaust comparison

First of all I've already checked Corey's page and I like the sounds of the dynomax and magnaflow, but my question is how much do each of these cost, and has anyone dyno'd each one to see if there is a difference in performance between the two. I didn't see this info on Corey's page if it is forgive me.

Chitrod,

I've had the Dynomax on my 99. It sounded good. However, I just heard Tom's Magnaflow 18" and personally, I like the sound of it better. Sorry I can't answer your question re HP.

I had a glasspack on mine...nice sound but the wife hated it. So I asked Magnaflow what their quietest muffler was, ordered it, and had it mounted. Their was a definite mid & upper range increase in oomph...torque?horsepower?

I looked down the glasspack tobe and saw the problem. The louvers extended down into and constricted the exhaust flow. So yes the glasspack was open...but only a cross section of about 1.5 inches.

The MagnaFlow is WIDE OPEN. No louvers, no baffles. Sounds great and has more oomph.
