exhaust

whats up gurus out there. I have been reading the threads for a long time and finally need to ask a question. I bought a runner that has a flowmaster without a cat. Whenever I roll down my back window, or open the windows in the top, I get an unbearable exhaust smell. I was wondering if this is because I have no cat, or maybe the fuel mixture is too rich. I did adjust the screw on the intake (believing that with a free flow exaust, I could play with the mixture). However, I was told that the screw only adjusts the idle. Does this make any sense? If any of you have any advice, I would really appriciate it. Also, just wondering what's up with the aftermarket pulley that some of you were going to get custom made? Did anyone actually do it? I think Gadget was going to get one and post how the thing works. Just waiting to see if it was worth it. Aloha

Yeah, that smell is called uburnt fuel. I would put a your cat back on, or get a high flow cat.

The UDP is kind of in limbo because it takes away the balancing properties of the motor. Basically, the power gain is not worth the life it takes from the engine. That's what I know thus far.
