Engine bay question

I have a 1993 toyota 4runner with a 3.0 and behind my battery there is a couple diffrent vacum devices, one has a knob with a spring on it and I cant find out what the adjustment does.

It's for your AC idle up, when the ac is on it puts a load on the engine, thus lowering the idle, with this knob you can higher the idle when the ac is on!
