Well if ya'll didnt know I work at a truck accessory store and have been searching for springs to solve my sag issues. No luck on the bigger brands but I can get the eibachs. I am paying around 130 w/ tax for them. If anyone else would like a set just PM me. All that would be added on is frieght from zip code 48642. Not sure if its that great of a price but it seems lower than most by 10-15 bucks. Just wanted to extend the offer to my yotatech pals.

I put them on my '93 - they're GREAT! I haven't seen anyone else on here with them though. I got them from nopi.com ~$150.

They fix the sag perfectly - the back is actually slightly higher than the front now.

They ride fantastic - probably the only spring available with a progressive wrap.

Installation was a snap.

 

I'm glad to see a review, I am still toying with ideas but I like gettin a deal, and adding to my sales with a personal purchase too. so 130 isnt a bad price for these eh.

 

Im curious wat other peoples experiences are too. I need to replace mine but I dont want/need anything heavy duty. I just want it to be the way it should have been:-)

Is the part number on these springs 8228.420 ? If so I will want some but not till after christmas.

I searched google and all the places that sell them say they are a 1.5 inch lift spring. Did they lift your truck that much? What is your fender to rim lip height with them? Im thinking about combining these with my 2 inch spacers.

 

I know the back is slightly higher than the front now - I'll have to measure the fender to rim lip (I have 15" wheels) when I get home tonight.

Boy that's a tough measurement to make accurately...Measuring from the top of the rim, and it was tough to keep the tape straight AND close to the fender...Lots of paralax error I'm afraid, but:

REAR: 13.25" from the top of the rim to the bottom of the fender lip
FRONT: 14.25"

Tires are 31x10.50R15. How does that look?

 

That is what they set at stock. Are you sure you got the 1.5 lift springs? Or are yours just stock replacments?

 

They are supposed to be the 1.5" springs - it is DEFINITELY taller in the back now (at least compared to the sagged springs). You say "set at stock". Is that a "supposed to" number or an actual measurement? What did yours measure before/after the spacers? I'm considering them if I need more lift...

I'll get some pics tomorrow. Is there another measurement that I could take more accurately? Say ground to bottom of running board?

 

I put eibach on my 4runner 2 years ago. I have since sold it to a friend and it still looks the same as when they were installed. I have had some serious weight in the back and it has handled them fine. A great product.

 

I always use the fender to rim lip measurement because it is not affected by other factors such as tire height.

I have done some searching and from what I see the eibachs will lift slightly above stock. If they really lifted a 1.5 you would be setting at about 14.5 to 15.

I am setting at 15 with my stock springs and 2 inch spacers.

 

OK - I agree it takes out a lot of factors, but the tire sticks out enough that you can't get the tape up against both the rim and the fender....Or do people use a level under the fender lip....
