EGR Mod?

Is there anyway i can plug up the EGR. So maybe in the intake charge gets cleaner air. Without sucking in some exhuast for emmision reasons.

Also does anyone know any other hoses for emission purposes that can be either disabled\bypassed in a way just so the engine can breathe in clean air.

Im also thinking of either making or getting a catch can so the can can collect any sludge exterted from the pcv valve.

Why ? cleaner air ?How clean is a mix of gasoline and air? You need EGR to prevent pinging. It reduces combustion tempetures and NOX.Don't mess with your smog controls, they are there for a reason.

the only time a properly operating EGR operates is at light load, light throttle conditions, when idling or under a load, the EGR does not open to let exhaust gases recirculate, disabling it will do nothing for performance, just raise your NOX levels at cruse, and may cause slight pinging
