what year? model? etc

there should be a fuse box in your vehicle's engine bay. the fuse box should have a picture of all the fuse locations on it.

and sounds like youre just putting a bandaid on the real problem: go find a code reader and get the problem taken care of.

You could also try disconnecting the negative battery cable if all else fails. You'll have to reset your favorite radio stations and all that stuff, but it should reset the EFI as well.

But ditto on what Bob said - you might want to find a code reader and pull the codes and fix the problem (unless you've already done that and just want to reset the light). The code reader can then be used to reset the CE light (don't know if they all do that, mine does).

Hope this helps,

Merlin

We need to know what year vehicle he's talking about (there's nothing in his profile). The buzzword is "OBD II" and that'll be on 1996 & up vehicles. If the truck is older than that, then we'll be tellin' him how to jumper a pin on the DIAGNOSTICS connector under the hood.

Reset wise... SOME do, "MOST" even, but not all. You can get a cheapy $30 reader from Harbor Freight that doesn't...
