ECU location for Tacoma double cab???

I recently purchased new door remotes for my wife's 2001 Tacoma double cab. I need to reset the ecu to accept the new remotes, but I am unable to locate the ECU. It is not under the dash or behind the drivers/passengers kick panel.. Where the heck is it????

I believe aa1911 is correct. It should be up behind your glovebox.

Found it, thanks for the info. Now, does the ECU have a rest button? I need to program a new remote for the wife's Tacoma and the instructions tell me I need to reset the ECU.

You can do that by pulling the efi fuse or disconnecting the battery.
