If its anything like mine, than you put about 2.7 qts of 75 - 90W (or until it drips from the fill plug) in the trans.

Amsoil synthetic all the way!

Alright, so, 5 qts should take care of it. 1.2 and 2.7 is 3.9 so, having an extra quart should do it then.
