DRL's on a 03 Sport

Hello all,

I bought my 03 4Runner in Florida and was put in service on 12/02. I am trying to figure out how to turn on my DRL' s. I can only get the ones up by the head lights to turn on. The DRL's flash when I hit the lock button on the remote. I have read the manuel and they say not all cars come with them on. Any idea what fuse I might need to install?

Just curious,

Why does everyone seem not to like the DRL's? I ordered mine with them because I liked they way they looked. But now, I am some what questioning myself. They were only 40 bucks and the insurance company is gving me a credit of 40 buck every six months cause I have them.

But with all that said......I am have been waiting for my new 4Runner since the end of December, (Special Ordered it) and from the way things are looking, I think I will be ordering it from another dealer....hmmm, without the DRL's

Okay...so this is something that you "have to order" it sounds like. Any tech type people out there know what I have to do to make them work. They work and are in place. Guess it is just a matter of making them work with the ignition is turned on.

They are loud and you cannot sit in the dark with you car running w/o attracting attention.
