I know that mustangs and camaro's grab way better than my light assed little yoter, but they cant hang once i get going. I didnt want to run out and get drag slicks so that my truck could do a wheel stand or something, im not that into racing ( just building ).

notice that i almost hit 100mph--- cars that run 12's hit 100mph, i gots the power just dont gots the go.

as for mods--

2nd gen supercharger
deckplate ( well, big ass square hole cut in front of the airbox )
dual in-tank supra fuel pumps
supra MAF
5" intake
trd headers
custom 2.5" exhaust with flowmaster
370cc lucas injectors
SAFC
governor bypass mod
trd limited-slip rear end

thats about it for now
oh and the dyno chart shows that i peaked at 298HP on 89octane

Crazy question that has been asked in the past....4wd launch then shift out of it into 2wd in 3rd? Or a set of lockers in the rear? What's your tires size right now?

I'd give it one to two runs before the x-fer case went under that kinda stress.

I used to use the locker in 2wd to launch, so my tires would hook up. Now that I have a 200lb sub box over the rear tires I no longer need to do that.

I've also launched in 4wd and switched to 2wd. No that's some get-up-and-go right there, but a pain in the ass to do.

Why not a set of 285 or 305/45/17? You should have the room unless your taco is bagged or dropped...

wouldnt i have to change the rim width to go up to that size? thats not something i want to do since i think trucks that have huge tires in the back and small ones in the front look useless. I might get some drag slicks on some 15's just for the track but im not changing the aspect ratio of my truck to make it look like a wedge. anyways if i were to do that type of thing, id want 275/35/17 to keep the sidewalls the same height on the front and the back

Nitto drag radials dropped my ET by .4 seconds, and that's with a crappy launch.

BTW, it was a 95 SI.
