Don't do a j-turn in a TRD Taco

Go really fast in reverse and you can do it pretty much with nothing but the steering wheel. It really helps if you pull the ABS fuse out too, as they prevent the fronts frmo locking up. I don't use the E-brake, only the front brakes (brake pedal). And I DON'T do it in trucks.

yeah, just get goping quick enough and then when you crank the wheel and stomp the brakes for a second it will throw you around. and in my 84 silverado I pulled e brakes all the time, just hold the release lever while you stomp the e brake pedal, but that would mean youd have to use your right habnd to turn the wheeol and have no hand to shift so it wont help you for the j-turn.

Guess what, I read in Consumer Report today that the Toyota Tacoma are prone to tip-overs under certain speed. This was backed by government tests, and that is why CR no longer recommends Tacoma as a "buy". Maybe you have legal issues with Toyota?

One time in highschool we were all sitting in our trucks at the local pull out where everyone sits on Friday night till we decided where the party was going to be. Anyways this wasn't a J-turn but a guy came ripping in and pulled his E-brake on the gravel. He rolled right in front of all of us with 4 people crammed in the cab of a cherry 85 single cab. It landed on it's side and it was a trip watching them all crawl out. 2 of the 4 passengers were girls and they were NOT happy. Luckily no one was hurt but it goes to show ya that showing off and doing stupid stuff is well.... pretty stupid.

The guy I used to work with said he had a vw bug that him and his buddies would thrash on. He said they were going down a dirt road doin fish tails. He got a little TOO sideways and rolled the thing on its side. They got out rolled it back over and he drove it home. Said he hid the "damaged side" for a long time before his dad found out.
