Dog ate the tacoma's interior.........

Left the dog in the truck and we came back to it in peices. I will need to get a new driver's seat and four sets of seatbelts. Any idea on costs??? I won't be able to talk to the dealer till Monday. Also, where should I be looking. Are there any aftermarket seats available for tacoma's that are better than stock? Thanks

The dealer is going to roast you alive. If you just have to get the stuff at the dealer, contact toyotaparts4u or Toyota of Richardson. Some people might tell you to stay away from TOR, but don't worry about it. The parts department didn't do anything wrong. Get ahold of Cam in parts (internet sales).

Another option is to call around to Toyota wrecking yards and try to find a seat match. They are pretty spendy though, so watch it. Option #3 is Costco. Yes, Costco. Just last week I saw some really nice black universal seats with bolsters for $99! You may have to have some brackets fabbed, but oh well. Option #4 is to contact a well known interior shop and see what they think.

Someone else posted a thread just like this the other week. Weird.

Bad dog!

Thanks for your reply. I figured the dealer will be expensive. It wouldn't be so bad if it were one seatbelt but the bastard ate all four......... I tried searching for the other thread you were talking about but couldn't find it..

Here you go:

This was a dash dinner, not seats and seatbelts.

I feel bad for you, but I can't help but chuckle when I think about your story!

Maybe you could sell the dog to recoup some of your cost.

errr, off topic, why stay away from TOR?

nevermind, did a search carry on I've ordered a fair amount of parts from TOR in the past....
