Does something look wrong here

As the topic says "does something look wrong here". I got new bushings for the stablizer/sway bar on my 4runner today. I fiqured that I'd spray them with some wd40 to help lossen them up. Well, when I got to the passenger this is what I found:

Now I got to buy another part. Crap the picture are upside down.

Ya, I think that metal beaver attacked me when I went to lower sycamore with two guys from ttora.

Thanks for the replies guys.
Wabbit those look nice but not at the moment after slider purchase and suspension upgrade money is a little low at the moment. Maybe, later. I have to settle with stock parts for now.

Okay, well I changed out the old link to night as well as the bushings on the left side. Took a little over an hour to do. Total cost a little over $90 for a new link and bushings.

Old link and new link

You can see how far down it broke:

Old bushings compared to new bushings:

Driver side link - will probable have to be replaced soon it's failing in the same area that the passenger side did:

I got to thinking that the link probable broke at the beginning of the month when I went wheeling with two guys from ttora

I screwed mine up when I took the bar off to swap the tranny. The handling isn't all that bad with the bar completely off. At $90 each, the $135 for a set of discos sounds downright reasonable. Then again, I can just hang it on the wall for free and live with a little extra body roll and a bit of sluggishness at turn in. should give it a bit more oversteer too...

waskillywabbit (or anyone else with the answers):

Q1: Why install disconnects on both sides? Wouldn't just one side do the job?

Q2: Assuming that you disconnect both sides at once, do you do anything with the sway bar, or just let it float?

yeah the sway just staying there doesnt interfere with anything. I had to take the rear one off because it was hitting stuff but the front one I just left there. I like the way it drives without it.

That happened to me to, wish I would have got the ones from wabfab instead of the factory replacement ones, way more useful for the money.

You spent $90 on one side vs. $135 for disconnects on BOTH sides?
