Does anyone know what this box thing is?
On 90-95 3vze's, what is the box looking thing next to the intake. It had only 2 pipes on it. One from the passenger side valve cover that is oruted by metal pipes under the air intake chamber, and the other goes right back into the intake. Is it some kind of intake silencer?

You could but you will loose some performance. It is an old but effective trick, a small burst of incoming air forms the air in the intake into a frequency wave of air that is at the frequency of the intake valves opening to enhance intake performance, make sense?
