DIY glow gauges + DIY Indiglo Gauges

I found this on another forum and it looks pretty sweet. Seeing that I have glow gauges with an inverter already this seems like it opens up many possibilities.

Let me know if you see any flaws in this method.

I think that looks awesome, you've probably gotta be pretty darn good with photoshop, and have a pretty darn good printer/scanner

the beauty is that you cant hurt anything, you just scan your gauges and play around in photoshop or paintshop pro or whatever program you choose. Print them out and stick em in.

What is really nice about this method is that after a few people have done this mod it would be pretty easy to build up an online library of all the different styles people have used and offer the completed work for download.

That would be sweet!

Talking scan the gauges

How do you go about doing the scanning part? Take the dash piece out with the gauges on it?

I have glow gauges that overlay my original ones. If I get around to doing anything like this, I can scan those and distribute them for people with the same style as me. (2001)

Or better yet, if anyone has those uninstalled and lying around they could scanthem for us.

this would be a great Idea....... since i havnt found the gauges I like...

Speed hut - too generic looking, 3 holes each side, missing info(Km, 1000xRPM, blue redline)
Ebay reverse indiglo - Plain Cheap looking(especially the Flame w/beat sensor ones)
Indiglo - closest to OEM but too blinding at night
