Hi all. I was hoping to get some feedback on a question I have. I have a 99 4runner and my passenger running board needs replacing. I want buy a used one, but have noticed many different models out there. My 4runner has the thin chrome trim around the wheelwell, as in the picture in the following link.

it is a different model, but is the main deck of the running board interchangeable? Thanks for any insite.

 

For the 3rd Gen 4Runner I believe that the main deck of the running board is the same.... but that the end cap plastic pieces vary (there are three different styles: Yours/no flare, mild SR5 flare, and wider Limited flare)

Your best bet is to just call the Dealer and ask them to confirm.
