Difference in carburetors?

Do carburetors from 84-88 22R engines differ between years or states (such as California models)? I am thinking about buying a used carburetor and rebuilding it.

i am not sure if the actual carb is different however i do know that the lines that input into the carbs are different

yup the vacuum stuff for the CA version is much differnt than the fed version
