its for a 99 model, but would if fit on my 96? i've got the 3.4L V6. Thankx in advance for help.

 

Yes, the 96-98 and 99-02 Airbox/hose intake is completely different, and cannot be interchanged without some serious work.

The 99 Assembly will NOT fit your 96, the airflow meters are completly different.

i would just go with the deckplate mod and isr mod top it off with a trueflow filter be just as good and alot cheaper

 

i may consider the deckplate w/aftermarket dropin filter, but whats the opinion on the Airaid intake tube kit? http://www.airaid.com/mit.asp ... would it work for a my Runner?

 

yes that will work with yours if you dont wanna do the isr mod
