did the seafoam treatement
hey guys so i used seafoam through the pcv valve at about a third of a can and dumped a can and a half in the gas tank.. i cant tell a bit of difference in gas mileage and or idleing... granted i do need new spark plugs and fuel filter but i still get somewhat crappy gas mileage. i drive about 70% on the highway and 30% in town and avg about 16.5-17 mpg... i know this thing can do better than that.. should i run some more seafoam in the pcv valve?? btw its a 2002 extra cab v6 4x4 tacoma with 79k miles

You didn't use nearly enough to do much. You should have used at least one can for the PCV and one can for the gastank. The gastank should come first and drive it until the tank is pretty much gone. Then do the seafoam treatment via the PCV and right after you finish shut off the engine and let it sit for at least half an hour. Then start it back up and drive it on the highway to loosen the rest of the remaining deposits.
