You know what the problem with 2 in lifts are ... you start looking over at stock cars, and trying to see if you feel any higher. But then when you don't notice a difference .. then something awful happens. You start looking for ways to go even higher.

I have 3" suspension lift and a 1" BL, 2" larger tires .. but I still feel like I'm only a hair width's taller then the stock 4runner I pull up next too.

I know what you mean by 2" lift. I actually wanted something that looked and felt stock while driving, but had those precious few inches extra when going off road. I will also just put on slightly bigger tires.

SO next time on a trail, people will think it is a stock Runner, but it should do a lot better. Sort of like what people do with sleeper performance cars.

By the way I cleaned up the web page my english sucked, shows your language skills decrease with beer and late night hours.

even with my 3" lift, the first time i went out to test drive it afterwards, i kept asking my brother "are we taller than that car? how about that one??" then he got pissed off at me so i just had to ask myself in my head.

Keep us posted on how the ride feels and any problems you encounter with the Daystar and Revtek lifts on. Thanks for the write up!

Guys ... once you do your write-ups, even if you post a link to them in here, be sure to also post a link here:

https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f117/4th-gen-lift-write-ups-31376/

So that we'll have a thread where they/links to them can all be found.

I agree

With stock tires and rims, only "experts" like us, will be able to differentiate between the lifted and the stock 4runners. I'm hoping to make it more noticeable with the 285 MTRs.

One thing for sure though. Lance's ride is SICK! It's not high, but with the mean bumpers and huge MTRs, we know people gave us props when we riding is truck.

I love those bumpers Lance has, and I also love the tire carrier on the back. Do you know if he is still able to open that back hatch??

I really like the look of yours lifted, even with the stock tires and rims.

His tire carrier swings out. With a realease of a lever. It swings out effortlessly.

I opened up his back door no problem. Like Timber said his tire carrier swings out very smoothly.
