just wondering if they are the same.....i couldn't find dexron II and the guy at autozone said to use ATF+3 ???

atf+3 is for chryslers
dexron is for chevies.....

dexron and mercon (ford) seem to get mixed together all the time without issue... but htere is something special about the atf+3 for the chryselrs

 

Yes, the two are not the same. For your Toyota, you can use Dexron II or III and Toyota T-IV ATF.
