detailing question

What products do you apply to the front lower valence(plastic) to keep it shiny? I have been using armor all and i think it might be turning th piece light grey.

303 Protectant seems to work really well.

Try vinylex. It goes from the greyish color back to black. The grey color is the armor all soaked into the plastic.

I used a stuff called black magic on my old factory bumper and still use it on my wife's Tacoma. It is a plastic dye and stays black for quite a while. I got it from Performance Products.

we used turtlewax 2001 (green bottle) on our black plastic neon's mirrors... best thing we found to get rid of the dull grey and make it nice and shiney. usually lasted around a month.

303, as said above, is an amazing chemical. After doing a detail job with that, any and all plastic looks brand new. Use it on rubber, tires, vinyl, any plastic. Keeps it good looking for a while too and protects from sunlight. It's pretty expensive (maybe $17 for a standard-sized spray bottle?), but it lasts a while. We get it in gallon jugs for $60.
