DENVER, Let's see your rides!
I was driving back from the airport yesterday on I-225 when a sweet 2nd gen runner merges in front of me. This thing looked nice! It had huge MT/R's I believe and a decent lift on it. I couldn't pass it, to look at it more, but it got me thinking...
If we post pics of all our trucks on here, and we see eachother on the road, we can do a little honk and a wave. I know some of you already know eachother pretty well, but for those who don't... Besides, its just another place to showcase your trucks.
So here's mine as of right now... Hopefully by january it won't be black anymore...

Steve-
When speaking of a POS, what are you referring to?? I sure as hell hope you aren't referring to the starter of the thread...the whole board has his back, and not a negative word ever comes from his mouth...

Here is my ride in Boulder. It should look different after Christmas when I plan on making a front bull bar, new rear bumper, better skid plates, and hopefully anougher 1" of lift.

I second Rick's statement. I've also met Play_With_Toys, had dinner with him, RicNck, Darren, HaveBlue, and a couple of others and he's a great kid. He's just starting out with this hobby and going to school, so I think he's doing great. We can't all be blessed with lots of money and free time to spend on our rigs, or be throwing stones when we all live in glass houses.

You know, I was out at dinner thinking about this thread, having a beer and watching the Apple Cup. I had already planned to come back and give more support to plays_w_toys. It is great to see everyone backing him. I also have an 87' regular cab 4wd with over 300,000 miles on it, and love it just as much as my new 03' 4.7L Runner. Thought I have not met him, I will say that he has one damn nice truck, and has given no one on here any reason to talk negatively about him. Keep the positivity flowin. The other runners all look like pretty darn nice rides too.
Plays- I know you just dropped some cash on the new BFG's, and can directly relate to you going to school, no $ at all. I just try to make as much as possible during the summer. So anyway, just keep up the good work bro.

Hey, thanks everyone! I appreciate the kind words.
Those trucks are looking good! I love your badlands bumper 89-4run, I wanted that one originally but didn't have the funds. I should get some new pics. I did a bunch of body work so I don't have anymore rust, and my dad surprised me with some brand new wheels afterwards, as an early x-mas gift; American Racing AR-23's. I finally got to test those BFG's in the snow today... I think I need more practice with the new clutch, because those badboys were still spinning in 2wd earlier.

I just appreciate nice, interesting machinery. Cost is a relative thing. Just because someone drives something older doesn't mean a) it's a pos b) the driver doesn't deserve respect.
If what you value is tied up in how much something costs, that's a sorry way to live.
I actually think all the Toyota trucks have built up a strong reputation for a reason and Plays w/toys ride is setup really nice. Plus those fenders look kinda familar
This is also a shout out of support, although Plays_with_toys is too long a name!
