Do you think a deckplate mod keeping a stock filter would be very effective, I've had a K&N FIPK and drop in in the past, and I know it seem s to give a little more throttle response, It just seems Ive read a few negative articles lately about the oiled filter and MAS damage amongst other things. I never over oiled any of mine and cleaned the MAS every oiling, but it still makes me wonder.

It's been a long day at work!
