Ok the dealership did a check and reset on my runner and so far code has not came back. Knock on wood. Code was too rich PO172. Is this the code that usually trips when head gasket blows? Thanks again! Going lobster diving soon!

Probably regulator failure.

ABS is voltage sensative.

So I got my exit, the brakelight killed what little battery I ha left. I hot a jump within three minutes of me standing by truck holding Cables, someone stopped to help and I made my appointment. got another jump for ten minutes, then sped to autozone. Pulled battery so they can charge and test. Pulled alternator, tested twice. PASS. Battery after charged was tested and FAILED. 49 bucks back from battery, got a better battery and now back on freeway.

Well see if it is a bad battery, need to drive 140 miles.... Cya soon!

Bum alternator even though it's testing ok? Problem in the ABS system?
Have you pulled the codes (or pending codes)?

Ok so I made the appointment, and I made it down to San Diego and back.

Bad voltage regulator only tested bad after alt was warmed up and tested over and over again. New alternator for 125.00 and I swapped it in parking lot of autozone. The manager at almaden branham autozone also tested for proper voltage after install.
Back on the road again.....

Check engine light back on.

Runs great and recently installed new cat and passed smog.

Same code. Maybe dirty MAF?

So you are still running the original tranny, which now has over 320k on it? How does it feel?

So, overall, sounds like your motor swap was a pretty big success. All these little issues you've had have been unrelated. I'm thinking of doing a swap soon, and I even have a helper that has done a few. Your thread makes it seem easy! Nice work!
