D-Cab owners or......
.......to whoever it applies too.
OKay.....I've seen this problem occur in other posts where the so called "gear catching" happens often to our trucks. Just wanted too know if it happens too all of you, or if its just driving style that causes it or the Leaf Spring suspension set up gives that "axle wrap" feel when u drive. Is there anyway of eliminating it? or perhaps reduce it? I would love to hear from your guys' input on this....thanks

I have the same problem on mine...actually mine only does it sometimes, up until recently, when I took my truck in for service it had stopped doing it, but as soon as I had my rear break service(clean + adjust) it started doing it again. As odd as this may sound, since I thought it had nothing to do with the brakes, it is what happened in my case. By now I have gotten used to it to the point where I can actually prevent it by braking early, its not comfortable braking until you get used to it. As far as fixing it, I have heard AAL's help as the stiffen the rear suspension.

gear catching? do u mean the car jerkin when shifting? ... well watever it is... my 91 pickup used to catch hard when i had the new centerforce clutch installed. but after a while, it wore down, and its a lots smoother shift now.
