Custom rack and ISR mod pic's

Here's a couple of pics of my truck.

The safari roof rack was made with the help of my brother-in-law and was built 1" square tubing. It's 60" in length, 42" wide. I think it's the perfect size for this truck. The next step is going to be 4 lights up front, two out back for reversing.

The second pics are my ISR mod. I must say that I don't think it helped with the gas mileage at all, but midrange torque is better. I figure any gains in fuel economy was lost when I put the roof rack on.

I used exhaust pipe at a muffler shop. They charged me $5 for the bending and the pipe itself.

I just found out that it's really hard the get to the dipstick to check the oil now. Oh well...

INTAKE SILENCER REMOVER MOD

You remove the intake silencer elbow and modify a straight pipe in its place for better airflow from the TB to the airbox.

In my opinion, there is no need to even consider this mod at the least, with that SUPERCHARGER in that V8!

The wind noise that the rack makes does not overcome the howling noise coming from the BFG Mud Terrians at highway speed. If I open the sunroof I can hear the rack, but it doesn't make wierd whistling noises, so it's not really an issue for me. I guess we'll see what happens when the lights go up.
