Crossover pipe install

Crossover pipe install

has anyone found a better and easier way to install the crossover pipe with a 3 liter? I got it out but cant get it back in.

Why would you want to put it back in? That thing is one of the biggest problems with the 3.0. Get some headers in there.

its not my truck, im putting in a 3.0 in replacement of a 3.0 for this guy and i cant get the freaken crossover pipe back in.......if it was mine i would put headers and a 3.4 in it.

anyone else....ideas!? please

If there is no body lift then it is very very hard to try and get the pipe back in with everything else in place already.......YOu might have to loosen up the front 3 body/frame mounts and lift the body away from the frame and eng to get it to go back in......You can pull off the intake and valve covers and try that way also.....
