Ok, so i was changing my vavle cover gaskets while installing my supercharger when all of the sudden while tourqing down the the bolts (to 10ft lb) one corner cracked!

So i am now grounded while i try to find another valve cover! this sucks i was just about done with the install!So anyone got a valve cover? know where i can get one? Need it in a hurry as well if possible (would be willing to pay for express shipping if it can ship out tomorrow).

I bought mine new from Toyota of Dallas. IIRC they are $125 each and have the spark plug seals already in them. If you find them used chances are they will be caked with hardend carbon deposits.

 

I Checked that site but all the ones they say they have on there are "out of stock".

Yeah, it may have some carbon (i am quite surprised how clean mine are after 130k miles) but some brake cleaner and a wire brush can save me $50 then i will do it! I am darn broke right now, so broke i considered using the old as the hilles belt that came with the supercharger instead of buying a new one (don't worry i broke the piggy bank and got the new one) same for the valve cover, i almost just put some RTV on it and called it good, but everything WILL be done right, even if i live on the street after this! lol

I called Deathcougar yesterday and they said they had one, i am going to call as soon as they open and get it, hopfully express will get it here saturday.

We will see.

Well i got my package today! valve cover looks good, dirty but i think some brake cleaner will make it look like new.
