Couple ?'s

First off the truck hit 100k last month

I need to get the tranny flushed and filled along with the brake system and coolant system.

How much should I be looking to pay for this work inc. labor?

Cheers!

I think a lot of people here will suggest that you do it yourself. Cheaper and more fun

It's a good chance to do an overall switch to synthetics too!

I would love to get it done myself, but a lack of confidence in performing such work, and serious time constraints as of late really limit my options.

So how about it? What kind of $ am I looking at?

I don't know about you but my local dealership offers this special:

MAJOR SERVICE
Recommended every 30K or 24 months

*Change engine oil, replace oil filter, clean lube and adjust rear brakes, rotate tires
*Replace air filter, replace spark plugs (resistor type). (Platinum tip plug replacement recommended every 60K miles), replace differential fluid, inspect hoses and belts, pressure test cooling system, drain and refill transmission, drain and refill colling system with Toyota red coolant, road test.

VEHICLE INSPECTION
Inspect and bring to specification the following fluid levels:
Battery, transmission, brake, clutch, master cylinder, power steering, differential, coolant, windshield washer fluid.

Inspect and assess condition of the following:
Exhaust system, belts and hoses, steering system, shock absorber system, drive axle boots

Adjust and/or verify the following:
Tire condition, tire pressure, emergency brake.

All this for $269.95
They also offer a complimentary 1 day car rental.

I think if it were me I'd go for the whole shabang just for peace of mind

$99.97

Cooling system flush

Includes: Drain cooling system flush with fast flush concentrate, add cooling system treatment and 1 gallon genuine Toyota red coolant.
$99.97

Cooling system drain and fill

*Visual inspection of radiators, belts, hoses and clamps
*Check radiator cap for proper operation

Transmission Flush
*Transmission failure is so costly that ATF (Auto-tran fluid) changes should be a regular part of your vehicle's maintenance
*ATF breakdown is a contributin cause of transmission failure
*Driving for extended periods at high speeds, in city traffic during hot weather or pulling a trailer causes ATF to breakdown even faster
*Traditional ATF changes drain no more than 30% of the used fluid from your transmission. The transmission flush is the only ATF service that changes virtually 100% of your transmission's used fluid
$119.97

Auto Trans Special
*Drain transmission fluid
*Replace fluid
*road test
$49.95

*whew*
