Post a couple questions

question number one...
are the rear tail lights on a 2nd gen switched on the ground side or the positive side of the bulb? I am wiring up some reverse lights and want to know what wire to tap into.

question number two...
I have a low idle problem and im not sure where to start. Its a 3.0 v6 and when stopped it idles extremely low, around 250 rpm. it is so low that sometimes it will die. The idle was fine in the winter and then as the weather warmed up the idle slowly dropped lower and lower. the plugs and wires were all replaced a yr ago. where should i start to diagnose whats wrong.

Thanks for the help guys

Talking Reverse lights

Tap into the trailer hitch wiring ha-a-a-a-a-a-aaarness as it is right there underneath the rear bumper anyway. Go by how the wires are laid out for your wiring harness and use the appropriate one. Most reverse light kits come with a general wiring diagram, I know the KC reverse lights do as I've installed a set and I tapped into the trailer hitch wiring harness. It had each wire labeled as to what it was on the OEM harness.

Go-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o luck Go-o-o-o-o-o-o-atboy!

2nd gens are negative switched circuits. that is, when you touch ground, you complete the circuit.

dont forget to use a diode when using relays.

idle: clean the throttle body. search around here for ways how people did it. otherwise, looking at the Tb from the front, right where the hose attaches to the it, there is a screw -- you actually just see the slot. that is the idle adjustment screw. or that's what i do to finagle with my idle...
