A couple of newbie questions?

I am new to this forum so no flames please :-)

I am considering buying a silver 2000 SR5 sport, here's the link:
http://www.autotrader.com/findacar/v...or=&cardist=11

Q1: Are the fender flares removable?

Q2: What is the build code for the locking rear
differential and 4.300 rear differential
ratio?

Q3: Where would I look for the build codes, glove box?

Q4: It comes with color matched bumpers, I like the chrome versions, are these painted bumpers something other people may be interested in swapping with me?

Any help appreciated!!
Thanks,
Frank

1. Yes, but why would you want to unless you were putting on more offroady ones.

2. Looks like G284 - referrence: http://www.off-road.com/toyota/tech/other/4_axles.html

3. Drivers door jamb.

EDIT: Welcome Noob.

1- Yes but I think that style of flares is held on my clips, so be careful if you remove it.

2-Already answered

You can take the flares off, but you will have holes on the rear doors becaue they are held on by a template that requires drilling into the door. I would leave tham on personally, think they make it look awesome.

Welcome aboard

Welcome to the forum!
I have no information for you, just wanted to say "hi" and also to let you know that flaming really isn't an issue here.

If you catch a flame here it's either by someone who's had a bad day OR you are doing something unbelievably stupid that will affect others and not just you (i.e. removing your cats)

you get flamed here for that? on most other boards the only discussion on removing cats is how to make it pass or get passed emissions

Yeah, seriously...
I'd like to think that most people on the board here are law-abiding citizens. There's a few cops, firefighters, and military/ex-mil people on here - also a lot of environmentally-friendly people.

Trust me, if you decide to post something like that here, you will get a whole lot of flaming and little to no help at all. But hey, it's nice to be part of this community where people aren't thinking about just themselves
