Cooling fans...
Quick question.
I have an 88 pickup and we are tryingt to get the AC working again.
It seems that the head pressure is just WAY too high. I have an
electric fan on it now, and it pulls nicely, but, is there any way to
install an electric fan on the condenser itself? Has anyone done
this? It is a VERY small space, just wondering if anyone else might
have tried it. There may just be some blockage somewhere in the
system, but little steps first before I go changing parts out...

Well, we decided the 16" fan I have on the radiator is pulling enough
air, and after working on it, we finally figured out what was making
the compressor kick on and off. It wasn't the head pressure, it was
the low idle. We bumped the idle up about 200 RPM and everything
is working fine now.
I NOW HAVE A/C!!!
