Coolant overflow reservois

Need a new one. Autozone says they have a universal one that may fit. Anyone know if it will?? Got any other places that have it save the dealer?

Besides a junkyard, I wouldn't think other places would carry a Toyota resevoir. How much is it at the dealer?

Yeah, I would really try and go with an OEM part here. The fit just wouldn't be the same if you use the universal. And chances are this "universal" reservior was made specifically for an American vehicle.

Junkyard or TOR (Todd) would be your best bet.

$70 at dealer...$10 at autozone. I gonna just try and fix it with some silicone, but I need a backup plan.

Ouch, that's an expensive chunk of plastic.

I'd recommend checking with TOR (toyota of Richardson)here on the boards, Jay Marks Toyota, or maybe toyotaparts4u.com , their prices will most definitely be better than your local dealer. And if you get a chance, hit up a junkyard.

EDIT:

I just tried a quick search at www.car-parts.com

They didn't list the coolant resevoir, but they say to e-mail them if the part you want is not coming up ni their list.
