Cone or cup?

Are the inner wheel bearings for the front of a 4wd 2nd Gen the cone or the cup style? I'm going to be replacing them (first time) and need to know... Thanks. And.... how hard is it to repack the bearings (assuming that the outers MAY still be good)?

The wheel bearings on the 91 should be the "cup and cone" style. The bearing is the cone, and the race is the cup.

NAPA parts for the 91 (IFS) are:
Outer Brg set..........BR50
Inner Brg cone.........JLM104948
Inner Brg cup...........JLM104910
Wheel Seal..............25968

As an interesting note (or for group spare parts) ALL these bearings are the same as the solid axle trucks & Landcruisers. Only the seal is different

Solid Axle wheel seal......24635

If the bearings are bad, always change the races, too

Thanks Yoda! I REALLY appreciate it! Now I understand about the "cone/cup" thing. Thanks again! I'm cutting and pasting this for later!

Darn, I thought this was going to be about ice cream preference.

Post some pictures of the dismantle and reinstall if you could.

I'll be sure to. I didn't see a wheel bearing write up, so I'll do one.
