computer or tires?

I dont know how to post a poll but what do you guys think... Should I spend my tax money on a computer that I really want because im addicted to yotatech and I dont have my own computer or should I buy my downey coils and 33x12.50 bfg m/ts and a 1inch RB body lift. I was gonna buy the computer and save for tires but Im leaning towards buying tires and saving for a computer. Let me know what you guys think and if you know how to start a poll let me know.

In any other situation I would say go for the coils but I would rather go with the computer.

Laptop!

Certainly get the laptop. It will help to make you more productive and might possibly help you with money-making opportunities, with which you can go and get the tires. And the lift. And the coils. And the lights. Look at it as an investment (the laptop). I've used laptops as my primary computer for about 10 years now...I'm never at home. In fact, I take one on the trails...great for digital photos, GPS-Moving map, remote email (TRAILMAIL!), etc...

I would probably go with the mods...I kind of had the same debate about 2 months ago. I could either sell my 1400 computer and start using my dads old Dell laptop as my primary computer in order to mod the crap out of my truck or I could keep the computer and save for the mods. Well, I sold the computer and I have never been happier with a decision in my life! I would vote transportation over technology.

I would say go with the computer if you don't already have one. I would also recommend just building a desktop and saving lots of money, then using the money saved toward tires and springs. Laptops are over rated as primary computers, they are outdated faster, slower to begin with, and have less features than desktops.

Just my opinions!

But byu then there will be something nicer and better and equally as expesive! You can always wait for prices, but then you'll never have anything. Sometimes you have to just go for it!

I built 2 desktops in the past year for various family member and I got them a top of the line desktop for what sony, dell, gateway, HP and others sell their low level PCs for.

Just my opinions

how about you buy both?
You could get a computer on ebay for less than a 1/3rd original cost. That might leave you enough for tires.

Tons of people (like me) sell old computers for next to nothing when we upgrade. They are a paperweight otherwise.

I agree with Firsttoy, If mobility is your main purpose of getting a laptop, then I say go with a used one, I would.

Because he could build a desktop for cheap! then with money saved he could get tires or any other thing he chooses. Make sense? Obviously it isn't a laptop, but I think laptops are over rated as primary computers. (as my 1st post says)

I may be able to do both since I will have an additional $600 saved at the same time I get my taxes. But either way I am really really excited to gert some real tires and I think the computer can wait. My parents baught a nice one and they live 10 miles from me so I think the computer can wait. Thanks for all the advice. My dad just got a digital camera so Im getting pics soon!
