Color combo's??

What sayeth you? What would look best on my rig? My 4Runner is a 95 SR5. Med. gold met. The strips are getting pulled. I plan to get a brush guard or push bar and a surco roof rack. Those will be satin black. Here are your options (unless you have an other idea)

I said leave em black. That way you can get an ARB or custom front and read bumper in black and black steelies and it would look HOT! Much less work for you too. If you get the itch later, you can always pull them off and paint them.

Just my 2 cents...

Nawh, paint them.. if you get too much "Stuff" if looks distracted.. painted flares melt into the body.. As for the "scratching bit" Don't you all know that the flares are PAINTED black?? Mine were, truct me I sanded it and has to sand a bunch of stone chips off the front of mine.. I still think an ARB will look good with painted flares and stuff.. Heck, I have a black push bar, tail light toys (I mean gaurds) and now sliders.. all gloss black.. My flares, bug deflector, rear spoiler and lower valance are all color keyed..

See.. black flares

and color keyed..

I originally thought about painting mine, but thought I'd get them scratched up with my 3 kiddies climbing in and out of the back seat. No problems with this?

I found my flares got a lot more scratches when they were black.. Plus, I added some clear protective tape to the front edge of them to protect against chips (see my comments about the original finish chipping.. I think if you look at my slider post, you can see the tape on the flare.. I have a template if you want to ever use it (anyone)
