Coilover Snapped?!?!!?

Long story short, 98 4runner with 2.5" SWAY AWAY Race runner 2.5" coilovers 13" 650# rating. I hear a loud metal snap, so loud the neighbors come out asking whats up. I was only pulling out of my parking spot. My mechanic shows me the lower coils snapped, so basically instead of a gap, the bottom two coils are stack on top of each other. I have NEVER wheeled this thing.... what the heck?!?!

I called SWAY AWAY they were closed and do not deal with customers direct it says on the website....

I will have to call distributors tomorrow....

Can I replace just the coil on the coilover hopefully? Should I replace both sides, like what the heck is it common for these to snap? SHould both sides be replaced so they have same mileage on them?

I am in a bad financial spot, and my Jeep TJ tranny blew so thats in shop too...and I am unemployed right now medically retired cop they stopped my pension on a technicality, and I cannot go to court until January to fight for it back....but if I am keeping this 4runner forever should I replace any other parts while they have to dig in there to work on this??

Thanks

ball joints as priority with oem. They have a tendancy to fail. Depending on age/mileage of the struts you may want to replace those as well.
