I have checked the Vin number with the dealer and my 4Runner is not a California Emissions vehicle. However I am getting a code 71 My Manual says this code is for California Only. Why am I getting this code if my runner is a FED/CAN vehicle??

Well there should be a sticker on the inside of your hood. If it's not there then I guess You have to use your vin number. I just called the dealership and they told me based on my Vin#

If any of you Yota owners out there have a FED/CAN emissions rig and have this wire conected to the EGR, I would love to know!

Okay let me ask it this way.

Do all 90's 3vze motors have the EGR temp Sensor? Or did they make some that only had the EGR and no Temp sensor?
