clutch impossible to push

Just instaaled a new clutch kit and the clutch pedal is stuck in the up position and it would not go down at all. Any suggestions?

Can you help a girl out?? <3

You may need to post more info like the engine size and year of the vehicle .

Check for things in the way of pedal movement.

Also, did you install the clutch disc facing the correct direction?

sounds like either the clutch pad is in backwards or the arm that is supposed to push it in is not in the proper position! I did have this issue for a moment and my issue was the fork arm that pushes on the throw out bearing was out of position and not sitting properly on the knob that it clips on to to hold it in to position... look at the slave cylinder and see if the push rod that comes out of it is straight like it should be, and look and see if the tranny is flush against the block...
if the push rod is not straight then it should be the arm and if the engine is not flush to the tranny then the clutch pad is in backwards and alot more fun to pull back out and flip then reinstall!!!
